He’s been where your kid wants to go
Darius Madison is a South Philadelphia native who came up through the Philadelphia Union Academy and La Salle College High School, where he won a Catholic League title and scored 20 goals as a senior. He played Division I soccer at the University of Virginia, earned All-ACC honors, and won the 2014 NCAA national championship, scoring the goal that sent the Cavaliers to the final.
Toronto FC selected him in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, and he went on to play professionally in the USL and overseas in Australia, where he scored 13 goals and was voted Fans’ Player of the Year. He knows what the next level actually asks for, because he was asked for it. That’s what every session is built around.
Darius runs the training. Matt Sirolli, who has coached in the area for 20 years and is an assistant on Abington’s 2025 state championship staff, runs everything else.
